Raised for his first 18 years in Chicago's suburb of Highland Park, Jonah Zachary Lavitt (DJ Novazzi) went to University of the Pacific for his under-graduate degree in Business Entrepreneurship. Starting off his entertainment career in radio and TV at the college level, he accepted the offer to be station manager and programming director for both stations in his second year. He grew the completely volunteer staff from 4 to over 30, produced events like Fest of the Best (an interactive activities fair) and mock-recreations of Europe's Sensation (three outdoor electronic music dance parties). He had various radio shows during this time, ranging from talk shows on dating and relationships to live music sets, and also did a radio show documentary from his Study Abroad at the University of Westminster in London. During his time abroad, Jonah visited many of London's nightclubs to review and get ideas for his concept. As his story came to a close in England, his last chapter included a 16 day trip to Ibiza, Spain, the "world's clubbing capital," where he interviewed staff at the superclubs and took seemingly endless amounts of notes, photos, and movies of the clubs there. Upon his return to University of the Pacific, he continued promoting KPAC through live music mixes on the campus by day and doing electronic dance parties such as Pacific's Sensations by night.



Upon graduating, he moved to Hollywood to continue his DJ path with the very best talent in the industry. Jonah currently works as a full-time DJ/MC alongside six entertainment companies in Southern California, and continues to move forward with a big smile and positive outlook. He's building up his own entertainment company for another 8-10 years, then plans to sell out and move to Europe to DJ along their beaches. Jonah dabbles in music production, incorporating nature and the wonders of weather into dance and chillout music.

I mix music based on energy level, and frequently match common instruments or vocalist sounds. I've even categorized my music library based on the content of the songs, and I'll spend a lot of time before your event insuring that the music portion is completed before I show up. This way I can focus on the live needs of you and your guests, and be present with the energy of the party.
